Rabbits and the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird

“Okay, Little Miss, it’s time I gave you a kiss on the forehead and for us to decide what you’re going to dream about tonight.”

“Can it be about that big black airplane we saw at the museum?”

“The Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance jet that can fly at a sustained speed of Mach 3.2 like a terrifying dark phantom angel watching over the Cold War skies?”

“Uh huh.”

“And what would you like to do with this potent symbol of unlimited military budgets?”

“Umm…maybe Bun-Bun and I will fly to Spain to make a pizza.”

“A plain cheese pizza?”

“Uh huh.”

“Will you and your rabbit eat it in the plane?”

“Yes.”

“In a terrifying dark phantom angel tearing the skies in twain at Mach 3.2?”

“Yes.”

“So you’ll eat a plain from Spain on a plane?”

“I guess so.”

“Sounds good. I’m looking forward to hearing about that dream, hon.”

“Goodnight, Joebie.”

“Goodnight Sweet Pea.”
